I'm not well versed in ES lore but I'm making a Redguard character who will use Bound Sword to represent the Sword Singers way of forging a weapon from their mind. I'm stuck on the armor choice though, light versus heavy. What type of armor do Redguards wear?

According to lore, the are the 'universal' warriors of Tamriel, but I'd go with light, because it has faster smanina regeneration perk and I imagine a Redguard being a fast yet hard hitting warrior, so i'd go with 2handed or dual wielding!

I'm definitely going with 1h. I will probably mix it up with some dual-wielding but will probably be mostly 1h + Magic or 1h + Shield. Basic Leather definitely looks 10x better than Basic Iron Armor though. All the bonuses I see seem to be geared more towards light armor but none of those bonuses are really where I plan on taking my character. Light armor lets me sneak and gives more stamina regeneration but basic sword attacks seem fine and sneaking isn't for a Redguard Sword Singer. That's why I was more interested in the Lore Side.
