Sometimes, knowledge is not power.

I was reading lore articles and found that some Redguard in TES Oblivion said that Redguards don't like wizards because they steal souls and mess with peoples minds. Well, as enchanting is all about using souls, no Redguard would use enchanted gear. Bummer.

And Bosmer are totally carnivorous so that lets out almost all the food that you can cook in Skyrim including the extremely useful vegetable soup. Unless you play a Bosmer who was exiled from Valenwood for eating a tomato

Why do the developers keep adding these bits of lore that totally mess with your head ?

Does anybody else have anything similar about the races that are annoying?

It's not annoying, it's interesting and makes them stand out from the rest. Different cultures, different opinions and views. How bland would it be if every culture functioned the same way?
