I'm rolling a Redguard right now, and I generally like to stick closely to the lore of the race that I'm playing unless I have a good reason not to. Windshear would be an awesome weapon to have, but I'm conflicted about a strictly lore Redguard giving his soul to Sithis. Because I know that Redguards detest anything to do with dark magics and daedra/Sithis(?) worship.

I know there is a redguard in the Dark Brotherhood, but he doesn't seem to comment at all about the subject. I can see a Redguard being an assassin, but the conflicting part has to do with the whole Sithis ordeal. How could I roll around this, or should I at all?

Sithis isn't a Daedra. He's a primeval force that has no sentience. He's chaos.

But the Night Mother is probably Meridia, so.

I get that, I've played through it before. But the thing that I'm indifferent about is that you have to pledge your soul to Sithis, and that just doesn't seem right. Especially for a Redguard.

Really? I don't recall that. The Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim is fairly secular. Then again, I haven't done the DB in a while; I wiped them out on my last character.

What annoyed me more about playing as a Redguard who joined the Dark Brotherhood is that Nazir told my character that they weren't from Hammerfell.
