It's my favorite race but i don't see that much people using it... why? Redguards are awesome, i love their background.

By the way, what is the most credible choice for a redguard, Empire or Stormcloaks? I think Stormcloaks are the best choice because Empire sold and betray Hammerfell.

Anyway, I don't use Redguard because I always like to play either as myself, or something wild and fantasy-like. So seeing as I'm white and live in a fairly cold climate (F.U. English weather) I'm always a Nord. Sometime a Breton.

And Elves are out of this world, so I play as them.

But I don't like playing as cat men (can't spell their real name) Argonions, Orcs and Redguards.

I've always been tempted by them as they look as though they would make good warriors or battle magi. I nearly rolled one yesterday but settled on an Imperial for my battle mage. I think that quite a few people use them but not as much as the other races. It may be their lack of armour skills?

My only hesitation is that they have no elemental/magic resistance, and while Adrenaline Rush in past Elder Scroll games (Oblivion in particular; my first and favorite character there was a Redguard) was quite powerful, in Skyrim it's been nerfed to the point that I really never used it on the one Redguard I made.

I only play Nord, because I'm a big Abba fan.

IIRC Hammerfell seceded from control of the Empire. If they had to make a choice I would say Stormcloaks, but my guy didn't have a dog in the fight, so he didn't care either way.

In prior games, Redguards made awesome Melee Characters.

How do you know that not many people play Redguards? It's not like an MMO or anything that gives a consensus of the number of races played or what-not.

Trust me, the forums are a VERY bad place to base an overall assumption off of.

I play Redguard so I can look like myself. And they're also the most badass race by far
