So there's been several cool references or other things I've seen which are fun to come across.

First is the Nordic mythology resemblance and references. There's bound to be more, I haven't done very much or gone very far yet but the first and most obvious reference is the name of the character "Hod".

Next is things that make me think 'Song of Ice and Fire'. For one, Draugrs. They're [censored] white walkers, man! Undead, glowing blue eyes....awesomeness!!! And also Riverwood. I have trouble with that name, I always read it as Riverrun

That's all I can think of for the moment...

What about everyone else, what have you seen that is either a reference to something or just makes you think of other things?

The person who gives you the contract to assassinate the Emperor in the DB questline has the same last name as one of your contracts in oblivion.
