So, regarding our 'giant' problem.

why does every1 assume the giants killing you in one blow or sending you flying is a bug?
seems pretty consistent behaviour to me
also it makes sense, did you see the size of those things?
certainly seems like it was intended and I don't really have any problems with it
they're big as [censored] they should be dangerous

ow and btw
never found these dwemer centurions all that hard
between me, Lydia and my flame atronarch we killed 2 of them easily with health and magicka to spare
perhaps they're like giants though and there's bigger ones around I haven't seen (saw this small giant which the companions and I killed pretty easily)

It's a feature, as I understand it. People complained on the forums they weren't difficult enough to kill well before the game launched (based on the E3 footage), so now they're... powerful.

You can kill them, with some skill.

Yes you should fly a few feet into the air when they hit you but the problem is that you fly hundreds of feet into the air when they hit you and that IS a bug and was not intended.

When i'm running around at level 26 with the best armour and weapons in the game and I can only really get them down to half health (and even then, that's pushing it) and I still get 1-2 shotted, yet I can take on 2+ dragons at a time... I thinkt hat says something. Maybe it isn't the 'kiddies' maybe it's the normal players.
My character is level 31 with light dragon armour, and is capable of killing them. Admittedly, it's a difficult fight, but that's a good thing.

And if we're going to compare them to dragons, i'd say it's a case of dragons being far too weak, not giants being too strong. If Bethesda are going to change anything, they should make dragons more difficult and slightly less frequent.

Eeeeeh? I've killed multiple Giants at level 12-14. Firebolt is your friend! (Didn't even kite them. I just stood as far away as possible and started shooting. They always die before they can even reach me)

Giants are large and powerful creatures in mythology, so it is only logical that the game matches this idea. Dragons are made easier because you have to beat them to actually complete the game, whilst giants are slow and can easily be avoided should you just want to play through the main quest line.
