Regarding the Ebony Blade, how do you know when you've successfully increased the Blade's power by killing someone who trusts you?

I can't seem to see any notification or absorbing effect or anything so was just wondering if I'd done it successfully. I've been killing farmers who I sold cabbages to etc and who greet me as a 'friend'.

Also, as an aside, it is really weird how it's boosted by One-Handed enchantments, and swings as fast and weighs as much as a 1H sword!

The daedra will tell you, everytime it upgrades as well as when she's had enough. So if you haven't been hearing her voice, your exploit is not working. I'm going o try this blade on DB assasinations and see if that upgrades the blade, but I doubt it.

What he said. I'm just upset this is the only two handed katana in the game. It is just to underpowered for my two handed warrior.

If Bethesda fix's the blade it might be worth removing ten named people from a world with so few people to begin with

Why kill ten people? Just get a crappy zombie resurection staff go to ivarstad and take Klimmecks supplies to high hrothgar then the first tmeple of mara quest then find him in his house kill him then res him 9 times, I did that and it worked just fine.

Sorry for posting a spoiler in general, I didn't really think that through :S
