At this point some of you might have received a Xbox 360 invite to Mp testing, not a Beta test.

But that doesn't mean Crytek won't make a Pc version of Beta or Demo, anytime soon. Like what was said " This tech test is limited to Xbox 360 consoles only this time around", it only means its available for Xbox 360 at the moment, it didn't try to disappoint anyone or... forget about the Pc users.

Some of us just need to stay calm and patient, Crytek knows what they're doing. They all know we want to play this game.

(P.s. This is the second time I've posted this. Some threads from almost 5 hours ago mysteriously disappeared. (The Beat Team, and Regarads to Beta for xbx 360 and another obvious hate thread. Neither they were deleted by some offended user, "pls. continue" or by Crytek for Violations of use and content. (Crytek, if I did something offensive or violated any rules, I apologize).

(If this get's deleted again, I'll have a clear sign of who it is, I just don't want a fight)

I assume you are referring to the spell-check dictionary. If so, that data is not stored on the site. It will be in your web browser. In other words, it isn't the site's problem. You can right click the red-underlined word, and click "Add to dictionary".

Crysis was first on the PC. They know how to make PC games. However, they have not had a console version of Crysis yet; thus they are doing a console test to see how it will work. And lets just be honest here: regardless of what system is better (I don't personally care) there are typically more xbox users, so xbox gets a whirl first. Its a closed test, so it probably won't be to big, so there is nothing to worry about. A open beta will probably roll around that is multi-platform. Last, we are still a ways away from launch, plenty of time for more testing periods. No need to freak out so fast.

From what I've read this "Test" and the Beta are two separate entities. Getting into this test does not necessarily mean you will get into the beta, but I could be wrong.

The beta will be taking place later. What is currently set up is a technology test, Crytek needs to stress-test the Xbox360 servers before any actual beta goes out, I assume they want to make sure it works with small numbers before going for something bigger that might crash the master server with no clear indication why.

Call of Duty 4 did a similar thing by releasing the Beta a week before its initial launch to a select group, friends and family, which was probably to test servers and functionality before widely distributing beta keys. So if they follow by the successful approaches of those before them I don't see why the beta would be too far off, patience is a virtue.

Regarding some threads going missing - this is happening because we need to keep some level of sanity around here. There have been many, many duplicate threads posted asking the same sorts of questions and we don't want 5 new threads asking the same questions when it's being answered elsewhere.
