Regenerating health.

Has this always happened? I don't remember it happening in Oblivion. To be honest, I hope there's just some kind of effect on or maybe an option to turn this off. Kind of takes away from role playing.

One of the first things I will find a mod for.

It only regens if your out of battle, not during and not while enemies are near.

There is probably a healing over time spell, however without spells you will need potions and food to heal. :)

It's new for Skyrim and a bit of a Dead Horse. Seriously your character is the the freaking last Dragon Lord left alive. You got a soul of a dragon inside of you. A bit of health regen isn't gonna hurt all that much. Especially considering how in Oblivion 1 hour of waiting inside a dark haunted cave magically healed your left all your life threatening injuries.

Role playing? You can sleep an hour (rest/bed) and get all yer health back in Oblivion...this doesn't break role playing any worse then that....or instant health potions for that matter.

This is a non-issue. The health regen is incredibly slow in Skyrim, and it's better to just chug potions like business as usual instead of relying on the health-regen. It's just a small perk for healing very minor amounts of damage, that's about it.

It is really slow. I still use restoration as one of my main skills because regen doesn't work in battle and outside of battle it is only useful if you have cleared the area and have a 5 minute walk back to town.

Heal Minor Wounds + Regenerating Magicka = Regenerating Health.

Restoring stamina is RP breaking. L2Daggerfall.

It should only be useful to keep your character from having to use spells/potions/rest, to regain *small* amounts of health back. Efficiency is the idea here, methinks. No need to chug a potion or sleep to get 2% of your health back that some wimpy wolves took.

Well technically it should add to it, right? Considering in real life you do heal over time (or regenerate health) when wounded. Unless it's some life threatening mortal wound of course.

I like it... that way I don't have to wait for an hour every time I come out of battle....

What if you are roleplaying someone with the soul of a Dragon or Wolverine?
