Another small problem, When i get expelled from the mages guild in Anvil it teleports me to the top of Frostcrag even though I have not done the frostcrag quest yet.

and just a quick question does OOO alter the creatures in the official DLCs to balance the game out?


The first has nothing to do with OOO. And both yes and no to the second. You can access lots of high level armor in Mehrunes Razor that you wouldn't if OOO controlled it - on the other hand some enemies, such as the vampires, are from OOO lists and will be more powerful than otherwise. KotN is also harder with OOO as it shares a dungeon with it, but OOO doesn't affect its unique creatures.

In Leyawiin there is a very nice bow in the fighters guild first floor which has a hard lock on it, problem is you can loot it without even opening the case. Also alot of fish seem to be on the land not sure if this is OOO or not.

Also I have a security skill of 27 and iam able to open Very hard locks is this normal?

That's one I think even I can answer... No, that is not normal. But it doesn't sound like an OOO problem, either. Could be wrong about that, but the not being normal part I'm certain of.

Fish on land most likely is from MMM Diverse Waterlife, get the updated version that is posted in MMM thread post 3..

You really need to post your load order so that we can see what else you are using?

And it should be posted with bash so that we can see your version numbers. go to save tabs right click on save and select list master copy and paste

Sorry, but I can't see what might cause it. We have rather similar mod lists. Most Royal weapons are from Adonnay's Elven Weaponry, for example Royal Sabre, so it has probably nothing to do with OOO. Still weird.

Thanks for looking at it, anyway. Like I said, it does not seem to have any adverse effects... it's just, as you say, weird! If I ever do manage to track it down, I'll let you guys know.

It's time for you to start using Wrye Bash. You need it for All Natural, which you're using, so it's a necessity for your current mod list. Also, it would be much better if you posted your load order via it, as versions can be crucial.

This is the setup iam using thats letting me pick very hard locks with a security skill of 27. Lockpicking and Repair are Both Random chance, OOO limits you somewhat from attempting the harder ones at lower levels, but, other than that, it's Not unusal to be able to get one open.

It should be +39 to your lockpick skill is the lowest you can attempt.

A hard or Very Hard should be impossible with a lockpick of 27.

That said, if the chest isn't placed by OOO or vanilla and adjusted by OOO, then the script doesn't apply.

Also, it's possible to disable the lockpicking skill requirement with Cobl or with a console command. If you did that before removing Cobl, it will still be in effect.

fake edit: Wait, that explains it. Display cases are classified as doors and OOO doesn't add lock scripts to doors.

OK, I thought it was a general issue. The one in Skingrad is the one that already is open, right? That should be closed/locked and should be fixed in the next release. Thanks for reporting it as said.

The one in Leywawiin's Fighters Guild with a Malatta Quinga was even odder as 1. You can open the Hard lock with low skill and 2. You can take the bow through the glass w/o opening the display in the first place. SO thanks for reporting that as well.

There can be some OOO containers that are wrongly set up. I remember dev_akm double checking them, but there are a lot of them.

Vegetabill, I don't think the exact numbers are listed anywhere. You have to read the scripts themselves to see the +39 modifier.

Not sure if those two are placed by OOO, but even if not I think the one in Skingrad should be closed/locked and the one in Leyawiin checked as it's kind of immersion breaking to be able to grab it through the glass if nothing else. I doubt Sotobrastos meant it that way, but I'm not sure of course.

EDIT: And is that true in all cases? I remember earlier issues that were fixed:

"Fixed the container scripts so that certain NPCs would not have trouble updating Quest Stages due to container-interaction changes. For example, in the quest The Best Thief (where Methredel would fail to steal Amantius' stuff properly). All containers related to quests should perform their functions without any problems while being enhanced by OOO's container scripts."

Seems like vanilla containers with OOO container scripts? :unsure:

But no doors have OOO lock scripts. They haven't had them since near the beginning, as far as I can recall. And Displays are classified as doors in the CS, so OOO doesn't put scripts on them.

OOO is not affecting those display cases in any way.

I have been playing http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27302 and found a lot of similarities of this mod and the style that OOO infold his quests in Cyrodiil also there are a lot of camps, dungeons and bandies in roads. I'm wondering if OOO or FCOM team can join their effort with System Shock (author of the preceeding mod) to extend and enrich OOO/FCOM functionnality to Elsweyr Desert of Aquequinat.

Wow - just started a pure mage. I'm having a really hard time with it in Vilverin and even on the roads. One NPC enemy is a challenge. Two and I'm dead. Any tips? Is this simply a job for the difficulty slider?
