I'm not fat. I can walk. To many potholes. They're [censored]. Where's my bubbles.

What!? I can't say [censored] in my own post! :meh:
Could this topic even be called spam, give it a few more posts...

I can only imagine the hilarity that would ensue if someone got a hold of the remote while you were wearing those.

Ironically, fatness would be more debilitating to the use of these things, given how small and plastic-like they are.

I think I really need no encouragement to be lazy! Nor to acquire more shoes, for that matter.

I had no idea that it has been four years already...

And now that you mention it, I have no need of those shoes but I sure would like to have some of the remotes. :P

This is a fair topic and yes I would buy these shoes. And then I would cry as I would note how futile it would be to use them outside where I would really be able to use them because of the snow and bad weather.

Those shoes would be my ticket to getting rid of my skinny problem :D

What do you mean by skinny problem, and how are they gonna get rid of it?

They are a pretty cool invention, I don't think I would be getting them though as I prefer walking, and they look kinda dangerous considering all the ice and hills outside here.

It says you shouldn't weigh more than 180 lbs.. Sorry 180+ guys. :whistling:

Last summer I managed to gain enough weight to have to move where I hatch my belt around my waist by one slot. However as college started again all the walking made me lose the weight I had painstakingly gained by eating more than I could bear eating without getting sick while avoiding movement as much as possible, and I had to tighten my belt once again to keep my pants up.

Those shoes would get a person to where they need to go without them having to move any to get there  no weight lost!

Ah I see, but wouldn't a car just be more convenient? I imagine Iceland being just as difficult as Norway (if not worse) when it comes to weather and terrain, surely it would be tricky moving around in those (or a segway ) everywhere unless you live in the middle of the city.

Also one more thing: You mentioned earlier that you've been doing sports for a long period of time of your life (sorry if I'm mistaken), how were you able to hold your weight back then?

Sports was a big part of my life until I neared the teenage years and got a condition called osgood schlatter in my knees because of all the abuse I was giving my knees working them out so much. Think I was 11 or 12 when I went from practicing 3 different sports (freestyle athletics, gymnastics and football) while cycling and playing football in my time off to playing card games and reading books to pass the time.

I was able to hold my weight pretty well back then simply because children burn a lot of calories growing yet don't gain muscle mass as easily as advlts do. Yet ever since I got osgood schlatter I've gone from being pretty strong for my age to being pretty weak for my age but I'm still really slim and weigh little for my age. I'm about 65 KG right now and I'm 170 CM tall (or short if you like) and 19 years old. My friends are at least 80 KG or so, even those as short as I am.

Also cars are expensive  but I've ofc been kidding around really. I think the key for me to gain weight is not to try and gain it by eating but by working my body and gaining weight through muscle mass.

They don't look very safe and I would rather play fable: the journey than play any game you could play with these "shoes".

I'm sorry to hear that you had to quit sports due to that, but you seem to be really passionate about the stuff you've picked up after quitting and that's a great thing. I still play lots of sport in my sparetime, but I'm struggling with injuries aswell. I will eventually try to get into a football team in the norwegian divisons but it's a risk for me health-wise.

My friends are more heavier (but also taller) than me aswell. I'm 170 CM and 60 KG so we're pretty similiar when it comes to that.

Also cars are really expensive, and I'm literally spending almost all my money on my drivers license which I'm undergoing at the moment. I imagine these shoes cost a small fortune too aswell.

There are some people who would line up all night and then fight each other to buy the most stupidest looking pair of runners they can find for $200.
If these people exist then for remote shoes will have many buyers.
