i was hoping some one could help me out with this small problem during my moding i accidently left dead mony as a "parent"active and now i cant get it unlocked any more as far as i know i did not use any dm items n the mod so normaly it should not be a big problem to remve dm from the master option or am i mistaken?

the problem i have is having 2 masters listed and only want the original in th efile as a master

Open up the GECK, select your mod in the right side window where it shows dependencies remove Dead money, open mod and, save. You can also remove master dependency with FNVedit, you would need to get the manual for it though. I can't tell you how to do this, off the top of my head.

WARNING!!!!!!!

Make a backup of your mod first!! I have seen some strange issues when using the GECK method and, you don't want to lose any work.

Lastly,

If you remove the .NAM files from your data folder they will no longer auto load in game or, GECK. There will be one for all DLC's, Pre-Order Packs. I was always adding the Classic Pre-order pack to my mod and, it was just annoying. :verymad:

Hope this helps.

Use the clean masters function in NVEdit and the instructions are on page 54 of Miax's Manual, it is very easy to follow.

Good Luck
