Render Unto Caeser Help : Fallout: New Vegas

I am trying to do the quest" Render Unto Caesar", But every time i walk into the area everyone shoots me. im not wearing and faction Armour, im just wearing normal mercenary Armour. I have killed a few legion men, but in Vegas the man said i was forgiven.

Same happened to me, I was neutral and got shot on sight. So I killed them all.

did you kill them after you got the mark?

thats what also happened to me after finshing that same quest i returned to his tent and for no reason everyone started to kill me so i just loaded up my last saved data wich was when i was started doing his quest.it worked :twirl:

OK i figured out how not to get attacked, i am Shunned by caesers legion and i went to the fort peacefully. You need to discover Cottonwood Cove without them seeing you. then you should Fast travel to cottonwood and follow the path in front of you, Then a man will go up to you and ask you what you want. Show him the Mark you were given in Vegas and Your IN : ]
