Repeating freeze

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 8:07 pm

Since i bought skyrim it feels like i have spent more time trying to play this game instead of actually playing the game. During my first created acc, the first thing that happened when the dragon appeared at Helgen was a popup said my disc was unreadable. So i took it out and it seemed fine, no cracs or scars on it. After that it have been fine for a short while, but as i try to play more the game completely freezes randomly. It happends when i walk in the wild, in loading screens, while talking to people etc. It is getting really frustrating to say the least... im thinking that the disc is the problem since I have tried several of my other games and none of them freeze while playing for longer periods.

Anyone else that have the same encounter with the repeating freeze or is it just me?

And most important question, what should i do to fix this?

Had similar issues as well but when my game freezes my save files also become corrupted :/

If you had a dirty disc error then that's nothing that can be fixed in a patch.
It either a faulty DVD drive or more likely a faulty disc.

So your best bet would be to swap your disc for a new one before it's too late.
