I have done nothing bad against the NCR and i have done a lot of important quest such as the one when u have to regain Nelson at the top of my screen it say's NCR fame gained but when when i check my reputation with them it says neutrual also my reputation with Ceaser's Legion say's vilified so my game isn't messed up. I haven't done any main quest with NCR but i doubt i need to the those type of quest to gain fame with them

If you are wearing NCR armour, i.e. deguised as one of them, your rep changes will not displayed. Take off their armour and it should then show your true level i.e. accepted, idolsied etc

Otherwise do more jobs for them
