You ever look at a Riekling spear, and think "Man, Bethesda really jumped the gun on this one."? Not in the "Hurr durr, I wanted proper spears to wield," sense that's thrown around here like a juggling ball in a circus. I mean the fact that they're borderline useless. A steel arrow does the exact same job at no cost.

It's a spear. It might be too small to use normally, but if it can indeed be shot out of a bow, you'd expect better results than a mere ten damage.

What I propose is both a damage buff, to the tune of perhaps 20 damage, on par with Ebony, and also a guaranteed stagger. Because it's still a spear, and having one sticking out of you would stagger pretty much anything.

You might be thinking this change is too great, that these spears are too plentiful for you to suddenly throw around such powerful weaponry. Well, you're wrong, because they still have a reduced range.Only being able to shoot about 2 meters away still keeps them from being a replacer to Ebony and indeed, other arrows of lesser quality, which can be used at larger distances.

If anyone's capable of fulfilling this request, I'd be grateful, because as is there's literally no point even picking them up beyond the short-lived novelty.
