Heyho.
As someone who is lefthanded, it simply feels more natural that left-click would control my left arm and right click my right arm. Makes sense, hopefully.
And I know, I know, you're able to rebind the keys. The problem is however that this will make you, say, use your bow with rightclick, turn pages in books with rightclick, and so forth.
What I'd like to see is something that, uhh, circumvents this somehow. It's 3am on a monday and I'm tired as hell but wanted to get this request out before I go to bed, haha.

Not sure I follow... I currently use left-click for my left hand and right-click for my right hand...

So do I, but if I change to a two-hander or a bow, the key for striking would then be right-click, which feels unnatural to me.
Does that make any sense?

Default handedness is hardcoded, always has been, and likely will remain so until we unlock the potential of quantum computing.

I am left-handed as well, unfortunately in this world you have to learn some ambidexterity to function. However I have gotten so use to it, I no longer get bothered at all(even keep my mouse on the right hand, it feels weird in my left hand).

I was bummed by this, but I learned to get over it. Who knows, I may create a mod that works for this when the Creation Kit comes out.

Try finding a left-hand-strung guitar or a mouse that is built for left-handed people... Despite 10% people being left-handed, we have since birth of civilization openly been ignored by the right-handed population..
I say, "You gotta fight, for your left!... See...

you could however swap mouse buttons pretty easily with any number of programs, or just edit the controlmap.txt file from the harcoded keybindings mod and change it in there, although unlike bethesda promised you can't use a shield with your right hand
