Respec'ing our character. : Fallout: New Vegas

Can anyone explain this a little more in depth.
What will we be able to change?
His skills? Looks? Hair? Traits? Faction allegiance?

I wanna know because I kind of have a desire to start a new character for this DLC...but no if there are a few certain things I can change..I like my current PC.

My guess is that it will be optional. Something will probably happen in OWB that makes this happen (whether it is a simple pop-up message that allows for the respec like when we are leaving Goodsprings, or it may happen in the DLC itself as part of the story or a feature that is within the area. Anything can happen).

As far as what it is I believe it will only affect the character's traits, but perhaps other things (such as our appearance) could also be possible. I do not believe our alignment to factions will be altered, though Ulysses may prove otherwise...

I hope not facial structure. Mostly because it would make no sense whatsoever (like it did with Fallout 3) because no one would know who you were. Though, I could always just not change that, but still.

Well I think that reason that you are going to be able to choose the trait that caps your level is because

in the video that came out today, it's revealed that you get a lobotomy when you're captured.

It seems that it would be logical to include that as the respec, instead of just a pop up message.

I hope not facial structure. Mostly because it would make no sense whatsoever (like it did with Fallout 3) because no one would know who you were. Though, I could always just not change that, but still.

I hope we can change facial features, there are some tweeks I'd like to be able to make. As you said, the people who don't like it don't have to do it.

Indeed. It is less like fast travel where that statement doesn't apply because often people just want an alternative to fast travel. Not changing your face isn't tedious

aparrently rework your character abilities and appereance. you also end up looking like a lobotomite shortly after arriving

You have to jump through hoops to get a simple haircut in this game.

As I understood it the respecing was for your traits and traits only. Redoing skills and perks has the problem the game needs to remember what skill books you've read for which skills and which ones were read with comprehension or not.

I take it your always 100% happy with your characters appearance before leaving goodsprings.
