As i understand there will be no resetting of any spent points in any trees, thou i like the realism of consequencional choices that require thought and research for a ultimate build .I see a problem that is bound to happen. As an experienced MMO gamer one thing that is a fact , after a games release a lot will need to be re balanced (nerfbat) and since a lot of research and time is required to build ultimate charter , the balance of the play style will be lost after a major nerf session.
ESO is trying to avoid the golden trinity, and make each player more self sufficient and play to their own style just like it was a TES sp game, thou this is great

a tank/healer/dps roles will still need to be filled when it comes to raids/ instances/events. The great thing in ESO is those roles dont have a specific class,. bad thing is we have to rely on players word that they are up for the job,.. especially while pugging. thou spamming " LF tank " in other games you get a "tank class" they can still be crap ;p but you know they have the best class to fill the role, in ESO we have no idea ><
Now im a tank in every RPGMMO and in ESO it will be no different, ESO said cookiecutter builds wont apply to the game,. I can tell you now that there will be a "best" setup for group tanking and after nerf's it will require a respec to go for the next best setup that fits a tanks role. we dont want a build thats good at everything but shines at nothing.
Healer might heal abit less and a dpser loose some dps after a nerf, but when a tank gets nerfed they either die to quick or cant control the fight anymore. but no matter what role you wish to fill,. if you want to max your play style you have to be able to respec after the nerfbat attacks stop. ^^
or am i missing something?
