Resting

Should NOT restore you to 100% health and mana, it's just too overpowered as it is because you can't recover from wounds by taking a short nap.

Edit: I just believe it should be limited and not outright removed as it would add a little more importance to health/healing spells and potions.

Should definitely bring back the "rest until healed"

Sometimes that took more than a day.

And waiting in the wilderness shouldn't restore health at all.

I did find that exceedingly useful in Oblivion though, did it for training magic skills up too somewhat, sped things up.

Btw, liking the avatar, Tredog. xD The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim should get rated W for Winner.

I'm not saying this thread in particular, but there IS a point at which too much realism is actually hurtful to the game.

That's a good point, because the Gran Turismo games got ruined for me by that, they went above and beyond with hindrances in races, but that's a different subject altogether. :P

But yeah, I just hope Bethesda won't get too carried away with that and just focus overall on making the game as a whole the best it can be. Better snow/rain effects would be nice, though.

yeh I did think that was overpowered, because you arnt fighting 20 enemies your having like 20 fights with only 1 enemy to be honest I think morrowind did the wait thing pretty well I hate how long it takes just to go though one day, they should add a button thats just like skip transition or something like that
