Restoration and one handed build?

Does anybody use a one handed weapon and restoration in the other hand as their normal setup?

I think it would be pretty sweet to power attack, power attack, fast heal, power attack, power attack

That's what I usually have. Especially when you have a perk that restores stamina when you heal, so you can keep up the power attacks.

As far as builds go, you'll want to talk to someone else, because I'm one of those level 81 hybrid build types so I don't think you'd want to rely on me when it comes to making a build.

I really doubt that I'll ever make it to level 81 or even 51 for that matter. I have been stuck trying to make a character that gets passed 35 nice I got the game in early December. I have only finished the images college and that's it

I thought of this, but haven't made one yet being how long it takes to really get into a legitimate playthrough. One-handed/Restoration actually sounds like the best Paladin playthrough. An Imperial or Breton, perhaps? Knights of the Nine armor mod? Personally, I only like casting spells to their full effect, so I'd have a sword and shield, swap both my hands out to heal or resist undead, and repeat. My friend really enjoys holding a sword in the right while healing with the left. Again, I personally haven't tried this myself, but it sounds great on paper. "...sounds great on paper..." My credibility is dropping.

Thats how ive played since the first day. Light armor, 1H weapon and restoration. I have no plans on ever playing anything else.

It can be a pain at times as you WILL take the vast majority of hits, but using your target as a shield to block other enemies, or funnel trhough a doorway is the best tactic for large groups. You really dont need much in the way of stamina. Ive only put in 5 levels towards stamina, about 10 towards magicka, and the rest in health. Im level 36 and my 1H is at 100 and light armor is at 88. Restoration is... i honestly cant remember the last time i looked.

Mark for death is a godsend against death lords.
