For example, when I was fighting a Dragon Priest, and I had no means of turning back either. I died, and just had to reload and try again. When I finally did it, I didn't feel as if I had deserved it. All I had been doing was reloading over and over whenever I died. Big deal... I felt no achievement for my victory, only slight regret for engaging the fight before leveling up even more(and I was level 25).
So, I thought how can this be fixed without breaking the game? When you die you wake up a few days later, let's say between 3 and 7 days at the nearest temple of Kynareth(I don't know much about this one) or Arkay(God of life and death?). There should be several options for those who prefer it hardcoe and those who don't. Let's say the hardcoe-option makes you loose your gear except for Nirnroot(doesn't grow back) and quest items(obviously). And another option for those EXTRA hardcoe, possibly even remove one level, and remove your perk, but lower your recent level of skills as well in order to make it able to compensate for it. The regular option you don't lose anything, possibly only a part or all of your gold.
You should be able to go back and collect the things you dropped however(perhaps not on "Extra hardcoe").
Possibly even add trinkets or spells that you cast on yourself that last for 30 seconds or so, that allows you to resurrect on the spot once.
Some of you will probably think this is a bad idea, I've heard about it. People who don't like the thought of respawning since it's not Elder Scrolls. Well, no. It's not. It's a mod. Deal with it. And like I said, this is to save you from spamming the RELOAD-function every time you die. Die, and you'll be punished for real instead. Know your mistake.
Again, this is an idea and is flawed. Suggestions to it are appreciated, especially regarding the location of the resurrection-area.
