Cyrodiil is quite the odd land after all.
Too bad that wasn't the Cyrodiil we got in Oblivion.

I think the "nu" in Nucyrod isn't getting enough attention.

Refers to the fact that this is a galactic Cyrodiil, "empire among the stars", in semblance of the old, no?
the All-Marugh rearranged their kingdom as befitting the new-found grandeur of man. The map was stretched in impossible directions, city became land, land became world and so was born Nucyrod.

Reminds me of Where Were You When the Dragon Broke. Is that what you're referring to?

Precisely. I'm in agreement with Adventerous Putty and whoever the other person that put forward that suggestion was.

I've still to read T0's last post concerning Nucyrod, but it sounds plausible and interesting that the Dragon Break offered a vision of CYROD COME.

They found themselves caught in a violent febriverse, the issue of an inept world-god, uninspired and repetitive. Their long-studied answer came in the form of rites of theotomy equal amounts brilliant and disastrous, which I will not relay here if only to not set you on the wrong path twice. Suffice it to say that with their repudiarch gone, the All-Marugh rearranged their kingdom as befitting the new-found grandeur of man.
For a long time, I hoped to be a stepping stone for you. Nucyrod was never a goal in its own right. It was simply respite from the churning world you left behind, a place of peace to prepare your final endeavor. Did you forget your purpose so lightly?

Damn the Dreamer, to hell with Shezzar, forget the kalpic trap. Reach Heaven by Hegemony and escape the cycle forever.

No, NuCyrod is the bigger Cyrod. And it came and will come to be. All things that can happen do, in one Cyrod or another. Auld Cyrod is the one of books. Cyrod is the one of pixels. NuCyrod is the one that is and is not. But since time is the domain of Dragons who are Tosh and Aka and Dovah, all three are here. They are and were and will be. So all are, and all are not. It depends on the Dragon you ask.]
