STEAM support ask for CREDIT to your WALLET vs. a REFUND. this will help send the right message. Its not STEAMs fault.

I just sent in a ticket on steam for a refund. I'd be happy with a steam wallet credit to be honest. At least then I can get something with my money that actually works as advertised.

When does STEAM reply? Did you get a refund through Steam?
What did you say and how did you summit it. I just demanded a refund for this lame excuse for a game.

How does the refund work? Does it allow you to grab a brandnew game when its released or what?

I filled that out so im just waiting now.

However what I ment to say is do they give you a Steam CREDIT meaning when a new game is released or something with lesser or equal value to RAGE, that you want; you get it for FREE?

Or does it just give you like a 50% or 75% off the next Steam game you purchase regardless of what it is?

No idea. I think they just credit your steam account with the price of the game. ie $59.99 then you can use that money however you like through steam.

"Hi, I would like to request a refund (not even that, I would be more then happy to accept Steam store credit) on the id software game "Rage". It does not work as advertised (when it works), just take a quick glance at the forums and you can see verification of my problems with the game.

To clarify, I pre-ordered the game "sure" that the developer knew what they were doing on PC. Sadly, they have abysmally failed to meet any reasonable expectations, and I personally can't bring myself to do anything other then ask for a refund. I don't want to spend the time or effort making the game work. IF they fix it, I will buy it again, through Steam. Until then, I want my opinion heard, with my wallet."

Ticket sent.

id/Bethesda... fix your hyped over-engineered and ultimately broken game. Then I might buy another game from you.

I copied and pasted your request for a refund. I am so upset with ID and Bethesda allowing this P.O.S. to be released in such a state that I want my money back and really NEVER want to play Rage. I NOW HAVE SERIOUS CONCERNS about Skyrim and will NOT pre-order. Bethesda, you should have NEVER allowed this to happened. ID, I hope your business fails for selling a terrible product to PC gamers who trusted your name and reputation which is now total crap with me!

Sincerely
Keg

And with discussion of other forums, cross posting posts from here, etc., I would say this thread has outlived any usefulness it had.
