Return the game or?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 10:34 pm

Hey guys, as you may all know the PS3 version of Skyrim is laggy as *bazookas* and is therefore unplayable 60% of the time.
Now, I know that they have mentioned that they will try get a patch to fix these problems, but we're not entirely sure when that is.
My real question is, would I be better off returning the game and getting another version such as the PC version or perhaps another PS3 game (AC: Revelations is looking good)?

For you and a few others - not the majority.

Well, that is true. But I'm guessing that they might get the lags sooner or later though. I didn't get the lags until 30 hours into game play.

Yeah I had absoloutly no prob till 48 hours, now it's a reset every few hours to make it go away.

I have roughly 46 hours invested so far with a save file of 6.3mb and I haven't had a single problem besides for a few random slow downs while certain areas were loaded up. I have the newer 320GB model that was bundled with Uncharted 3 but I don't think it makes much difference since my younger brother has my older launch 60GB model and he is right around the 30-35 hour mark into his play through. Ultimately its up to you if you want to wait for a patch for the errors plaguing a few users or trade it in now for something you can play right now.

I thought Bethesda said none of this negative stuff would happen that they wiped it out completely. I am glad I cannot get a hole of a copy, and maybe when I do they will have a patch.
