After completing everything in the command center of Fort Hagen and using you-know-who's terminal, I am getting stuck in the elevator when I try to exit. Dogmeat and I get in the elevator and when I hit the button, we start going up with the music playing and everything, but it never ends. I tried loading an earlier save but it didn't make a difference.

There is no other way to exit as the way I came in is closed off now.

Any suggestions?

I tried the Ctrl-Esc fix that someone mentioned elsewhere but it didn't work either. (Playing on PC)

So.... After not doing anything differently at all that I am aware of, aside from not playing the game for a while, the issue seems to have resolved itself. I loaded the exact same save that hadn't been working for countless attempts with the hope of creating a new save in the elevator to try and load from but I didn't even need to save! It worked fine.

Both relieving and bizarre!
