I have been trying to get more Daderic arrows with this reverse pickpocketing method, but it seems like it doesn't work for me at all.


This is the correct method right?

1:Sneak towards archer

2:pIckpocket him and place the arrow of your choosing in the person inventory.

3: Collect the arrows the archer has fire.

That should do it.

I've always done it at Castie Dour, but it should work in The Cistern as well.

Don't they just shot the one and run out.

I just forge them

I tried it, picked out every last arrow from that guy in the thieves guild and replaced them with daedric. He still shoots steel arrows for some reason. I am sad.

Not with 1.4 - 1300+ Daedric Arrows.

You have to pickpocket the EQUIPED arrow that he is currently firing. So you Place your arrow, then using the PERK that allows you to take equiped items/weapons you remove his equiped arrow plus any others just in case, then when he starts firing he will equip the wanted arrow and you get to harvest away.

Oh, yeah, I assumed that was understood...sorry.

If you don't have Misdirection you can wait for them to go to sleep because they will unequip their arrows when they sleep.
