» Fri May 11, 2012 12:35 am Coming from Morrowind, to Oblivion and then every fallout from 1 to NV as well as NWN and IWD and Bg I think I have a pretty good grasp of what makes a good game and a good RPG.
So, first up the bad.
My Pc has a issue with full screen at 1920X1080. The game takes several minutes to load. But get this, at 1920X1080 windowed the game loads faster than I can read the little tips.
Ok?
I have a ghost companion, they will not leave. No matter how long I wait, and no matter what I do they will not go away. I can not hire anyone and auto fail quests that require a follower.
I have three of the same quests in my log failed because of the above bug.
The game is starting to have missing textures, only some trees and clothing as well as tails on some races are just blue.
Everything else is fine.
The neat.
Getting married.
Book shelf's, place the books for you!
Armor crafting!
Killing animations! They are just right. Not so many that I get tired of them, yet often enough to make it cool. several animations for each weapon.
Each weapon class is broken into three (not counting daggers). Swords-Axe-Mace both one handed and two. From fastest to slowest and least to most damage.
Shield bashing!
Magic effect look cool.
Enchanting!
The not so good.
Dragons are way weak.
Dragon fights are boring.

Basically, its like this. Oh gee look at me I am a dragon. Ill fly around and blast you with ice/fire or whatever!
So I stand around healing until they drop down, where my 2handed sword makes quick work of them.

Game balance is all over the place, some times I one hit quest mobs, and other times I get rolled and have to use orc racial and lots of healing. Not a bad thing, and a welcome change from other games.
