A revive spell

Is there a revive spell that you can use to bring your followers back to life? That would be really cool like when you get into one of those hard fights and you finally win only to find that your followers are dead.

Not that i'm aware of. Glitches aside though, the only way a follower can die is if you kill them.

Followers are considered essential npc during combat, they become immune to enemy damage when they're low health and enemies will ignore them. When they die its usually because your follow is at low health and you hit them by accident.

I've seen Draugr death overlords one-shotting Lydia, as well as some other tough enemies, without leaving her on the floor before. I've also seen other companions dying by a dragons fire.

Followers can and do get killed, both by enemy and friendly attacks, I've started another character now but my last one was level 34 or so and Lydia died so often it was embarrassing. I always save before an expected fight, especially if I hear a dragon.

One Blood Dragon fight I had to do over and over, I lost count, before both of us survived, I would kill it only to find her missing, the problem was it happened at night and trying to find her or her body was a real pain, as everyone knows when combat begins followers tend to get the red mist and charge all over the place, if they die they can be hard to find, he'll even if they survive they can take some time before showing up again.

Mage fire bolt and ice storm spells are bad for followers, they have splash damage which hits enemy and follower when they are in melee combat, my tactic is try to hit enemy befor follower charges in then use healing hands to heal them while they finish off, doesn't always work though.

yea, sometimes the best way to get a foller to chatch up to you is to fast travel. Well thanks for the info. I wish it was more like Fallout 4 Xbox 360. When a follower loses all health, they just get knocked out. Unless somthing bad happens. I think that a revive spell though would be great. Hopfully they will add it.
