Comedic genius, I think personally he is the greatest comedians of all time.

Unlike his main competiton George Carlin, he was more animated and personal with his jokes and performances and managed to make tragedy funny in a genuinely hilarious way rather than a cynical way. His kids movies are also fairly good as are his films with Gene Wilder.
