For those of you that don't do alot of fast-travelling, do you stick to the roads most of the time or just travel through the wilderness? I've got to where I stay on the roads more, just because I LOVE killing the assassins and thieves that try to ambush me!

I tend to do a mixture of both, sometimes I like to stick to the roads for the "civilized" feel, and other times I like cutting across the land to collect pelts and ingredients.

I stick to roads because my horse has this uncanny ability to be full sprint when I'm near a cliff. I also can't say I'm a fan of any assistance in battle, so I prefer to park him somewhere before scampering off to adventure, lest a few well-deserved blows be stolen by horseshoes.

i like searching and going cross-country...you can find alot of diff and i just like the adventure side of it

The Rift is full of roads that take unnecessary turns. I will sometimes go off-road because I consider it to be a short-cut. But I also do a mix of both.

I never fast travel.

Both, I like walking down the road and running through the wilderness.

It depends on the character. My hunters and vampires try to avoid the road, while other characters stick to them. When playing a Dead is Dead challenge, I don't venture of the roads. Bears and Sabre Cats are scary for DiD....

I roleplay so it depends on the character. Some of them like to stick to roads and some of them like to head off into the wilderness. It depends on the character.

Depend on the character and situation.

For example: My assassin isn't going to take the road to the fort where her target is located, she scout the area and often searches for sniping points or alternative entrances. You'd be surprised at the alternatives I've found doing this.

Generally I am off road, but at times I do travel along roads.
