Skyrim's robes pale in both amount and quality compared to the armors available in the game. Some "robes" don't even look like robes at all, like the College tunics and Dawnguard's Vampire "robes".

What I'm requesting is a blend of the existing robe pieces from the vanilla game or all new robes to better represent the iconic fantasy mage, without turning it into a skimpy armor set or something similar. For example, applying the mantle and coat of the archmage's robe to a regular black or blue robe, and getting rid of the stitches inherent in almost all robes, or importing Oblivion robes or some such.

Because, seriously, Skyrim's robes are hideous.
