so likely by end of week im going to have no internet t.v or ability to use the phone
at least this is the short version :/
long version: my mom got pissed of that the remote wasn't working with the T.V because she hit the wrong button being it a new remote and my mom being technically impaired decided to call Rogers at 2:00 AM and she ended up getting some moron who said they could do nothing and suggested buying a new T.V
so at 8:00 AM she calls again and the person she gets has the problem fixed in 2 seconds so my mom then decides to go through the system to lay a complaint about lack of service because something like this apparently happened before and ends of customer relations
what happened next was some how my mom got a promotional offer to get 20% off the bill for the next 2 years but only if she picked up an HD cable box and an another HD cable box with a PVR built in but she had to return the working non HD cable box
so my mom and I pull out the TV and unplug everything take the box down get this HD crap and then cant get the TV to work because our T.V is 9 years old and doesn't do HD what the person on customer relations had said is that it would work with any T.V you just wouldn't get the "HD" effect ... apparently not and so for next two days had no T.V untill a Rogers goon came and hooked a non HD box (least has built in PVR) up but they still failed
my mom had specifically asked that the DVD player and VHS machine be hooked back up and operational as well all the Rogers goon did was hook up the cable box and they left us to deal with the to HD boxes we cant even use so my mom is then going to have to waste her gas to return them
