Roggvir's Execution is bugged/glitched for me. I believe it's a broken script of some sort.

I enter Solitude and get the Addvar, if that's his name, sending away his kid, the lady being blunt, then the captain of the guard does his speech, someone goes "kill him already" or something like that, and this is where Roggvir is supposed to start talking. Only he never does. So he just stands there, and so does everybody else - forever. Meaning I can't interact with most of the NPCs in Solitude, which is extremely annoying.

I have tried waiting a few days (nothing happens); killing Roggvir (I get killed); interrupting the execution (I get killed); disabling the Script Extender; running the game off its regular rather than the 4GB executable; and verifying my cache. Nothing seems to have worked.

Any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix it? Dispiritingly, I haven't found any other mention of the bug anywhere on the net.
