As a roleplayer, I dislike it when I'm supposed to be in a town to relax, yet I'm still wearing my heavy armour pieces. I'm tired and I need some time to relax, why would I wear something for in battle?

Note: I am NOT suggesting that armour can be hidden as clothes. I am merely asking what kind of clothing you want to see, for the people outside of battle in a safe area.

And yes, I do think we will get clothing, ESO seems to be quite focused on RPing elements and aesthetics from what I've seen, so I think we'll have this.

1. I myself, would like to see velvet dresses and the like, for the refined and fancy type like my character will be.

2. Other than that? Well...if anything will allow you to show of your fancyness it would be a fur coat. From the graceful bulky ones to the harsher ones for the Nords. I'm fine with it. Ofcourse, I think it would especially have to look bulky in the collar and sleeves, in the back and the likes could make clipping a bit too obvious IMO.

3. Regular peasant clothes, we ain't all looking for fancyness, some just want to work and not worry about spilling mead on their clothes. It ain't worth much anyway.

Do you have ideas?

Clothing may be considered light armor now. No idea. But there are also costumes that go over armor. No details though. Also disguises. No details.
But I want a cowboy hat. But ZOS told me that, unfortunately, the last one was eaten by an extremely hungry Khajiit.

Probably, makes sense. Robes and clothing are similar. Doesn't mean you can't use it as city clothes though.

Exactly. I liked wearing clothing on my Argonian in Skyrim. But he is invincible so I don't need armor lol
