Not sure if this has been linked - but I think the article is worth discussing. It confirms that most abilities are based of Stamina/Magicka, and that the controls are more asque to Diablo 3 than traditional MMOs. Mapping heavy/light attacks to right mouse and the block to the left is something I find really exciting! There are so e great screenshots to take a look at too - including a great lava flow off read mountain, an Argonian and team fighting a flame atronach - the visuals are amazing!

Anyway, discuss :).

They're using a single, instanced server to group people together. I imagine region will be one of the criteria

Another article from specialized press (in french) : http://www.jeuxonline.info/article/11202/apercu-gameplay-the-elder-scrolls-online
- level 50 max.
- The game engime seems to be based on skyrim and oblivion engines. In short, they confirm the engine is a built-in house engine.
- 5 class : sorcerer, knight, rogue, Guardian, Templar.
- PvP ala DAOC : open field, 200+ players fighting in the same aera. In short they took the Dark Age Of Camelot RvR model.
- Werewolf and vampires available at the release of the game.
- The best for the end : 1 gigantic server!

From reading through these two articles (my French isn't too good - but I get the jist) - it looks like this is a real innovator. I think it's too early to call WoW killer, especially because it's a more action oriented departure from MMOs - but this is shaping up to be incredibly promising.
