So while i was watching videos on ESO, i came across an interesting tid bit: What on earth do we know about rune weapons and if they will be implemented? I've heard that they have been mentioned quite early when the game was finally announced. Are they runed gloves on your hands or a wand? Or are they just going to do Skyrim's version of runes? I would love to know.

Runes were suppose to be one handed versions of staves so you could also wield as shield with it.

I believe the idea has been scrapped.

That is unfortunate... what about scrolls for non-magic users? Do we know anything about them? If they exist this would be the first game since Morrowind that they are actually useful. IMO
