Is there no running in post nuclear wasteland? Ghouls can do it, why can't we?

Have you holstered your weapon? (hold the reload key down)

If yes, what platform? On PC, capslock toggles running and walking.

If you ARE "running" and just don't think it's fast enough... FO3 was the same way.

For console you hold the stick all the way up to move faster

As for a sprint like something out of Battlefield I pretty sure you can't do that

To get around faster pull up the map and fast travel to previous places discovered

running speed was enhanced from FO3, just go back and check it out, I was in FO3 last night on my ps3, and in NV today, and the FIRST thing I noticed was how much faster you run with no weapon up, plus I saw a perk to increase run speed, while there is no sprint, it's simply because there isn't a button for it, this game has a much better overall speed to it than FO3, i think they did a great job with the increase.

If you're playing on PC, just type "setav fmoverunmult #" and replace # with your desired run speed. I like 6. Not too fast, not too slow.

Anyway, I miss the Bullet Time mod from FO3; you could use the action points to sprint (in fact that was customizable -- you could even sprint without using them).

havent checked this but does your agility have an effect on your running speed? mine is set at 7 and i can backtrack faster than most enemies can charge...travel time has been quick as hell for me as well.

PS3...The pace at which you "run" is just annoying. Especially when you're being rushed by several ghouls and all you want to do is just keep a good enough distance to pick them all off. So you can adjust running speed on PC? I knew I should have gotten it on this platform. As the guy above mentioned, does agility improve this?

Actually there is a chem call Turbo that does this in Fallout: New Vegas. Well, except for the sprinting. Very cool.

If you are on PC and arn't afraid of the GECK, you might find these vars interesting:

Yes, that's oblivion. yes, I'm 90% sure 90% of them do still apply. The formulas might be different, however.

I'm assuming your PS3 is unmodded? If so, you have no options.
