Safe Storage in Volkihar?

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 6:02 pm

Topic basically states it all. I'm around level twelve and the loots starting to pile up. Are there any safe places for me to store my stuff here?

I wouldn't risk it on anything big like your dragon priest masks. There's no way of knowing until it's released on the PC, then they can use the commands to check. Stick something crappy in there for a few weeks and check back.

What Louise said, I would be too paranoid right now to risk losing items in buggy storage.

I use the Wardrobes and the weapon rack in Harkon's room and it's pretty safe. I'm pretty sure Volkihar Castle is considered a home so it should be fine.

Hope so. Going to buy lots of weapons and other crap and start some field testing.

The blood chalice thing before the final conrontation with Harkon. He doesn't want you being stronger than him that weasel.

Just use a single iron arrow,no use in possibly losing good weapons.

Place an iron arrow in each container then leave the area for a few weaks and return to see if your arrow is still there.
If it is you have safe storage.

Makes the vampire lord form stronger, doesn't it? I know that some of the side-quests are to improve the strength and duration of the blood chalice buff.

This is the best, cheapest way to test the safety of storage in any location.

It happened the two other times I played vampire. O_O

And I know it isn't strong but it's more for the effect of "That jerk hid something that gives me strength, He really was planning on murdering!"

Just about every container in Fort Dawnguard is safe - So I don't see why Castle Volkihar would be any different.

I've used the barrel next to the alchemy lab in Fort Dawnguard's smithy/Armored Troll pen area for about three in-game months now.
