So I joined the Empire and recently led the troops to glorious victory in the Battle for Whiterun. The city is a bit busted up after the battle. Will it ever be repaired/revert back to normal? I've played through before but it was a while ago.

Never, main reason I hate the Civil War. Whiterun is the city where I normally live.

I don't think so but I may be wrong, for as far as I have played Whiterun has remained more or less damaged since then.

This. It's sad that the occupying force doesn't repair it.

Probably not, they still haven't even fixed the Gildergreen Tree...or many other things for that matter.

The senselessness of war...

You would think that after a devestating battle, they would rebuild. Look at Europe after World War II. They didn't just stand there and do nothing.

The fact that it doesn't get repaired is why I made up a roleplay reason for my main not to do the Civil War. I love how Whiterun looks and hate to see it destroyed.

I don't see why they can't repair Whiterun if they repair Solitude/Windhelm after the Civil War questline.
