Sandbox 3 custom map uploading to consols?

Post » Thu May 13, 2010 8:40 am

Im not sure if its real or not, I heard that you can upload your custom maps made from the sandbox 3 from the pc to your ps3 or xbox. If this is true, does annoyone know if it already started or when it will start?

-Thanks

Cryengine 3 has a feature called "Live Create" where it can convert PC made assets in real time to the formats for PS3 and Xbox 360. You would need to have development kits for the consoles to do things in real time.

The question is since Crytek wants to release a free version of the Cryengine 3 will users be able to use that feature at all? Pictures from a beta Sandbox 3 (came with the leak) showed options to sync up to consoles.

So its possible and is somewhat implied but to what scale and will it be a final feature or not is a bit up in the air.

Its not possible with normal Retail Consoles. Is it so difficult to accept that?
