A sandbox game, set in D&D univers. Would be brilliant!

Dosnt anyone want to play a sandbox game set in D&D setting? Of corse Faerun would be too big of a projcet, but single province would be enough. With D&D's character development and impact of players choices, we could have an amazing gameplay experince. I dont know the whole ruleset of D&D, but it propably could be tweaked to fit a sandbox game.

Btw wich game developer owns the licence to Dungeons And Dragons name?

If it is to be yet another grindfest sandbox then no thanks.

If you're going to make something open then have things other than whacking beasties over the head to do.

Ive tried the D&D mmo thing, and it svcked. When I mean sandbox rpg, im thinkin a game more like Fallout (3, NV) and Skyrim. When I mean D&D sandbox rpg, Im thinking more like Fallout (3, NV) and Skyrim. Not a MMORPG
