saveini?

Does this command still work? I was trying to revert ugrids on a save game but using saveini in the console doesnt output that big Skyrim.ini file like it used to(no errors are given on the console ingame when its used).

And related, my objects in loading screens are red. After some googleing it seems like thats a result of using saveini, but the solution(deleting some lines from the Skyrim.ini that get generated by "saveini") obviously isnt working for me

Edit: From what I recall the one time I did this back when the game came out it generated a new Skyrim.ini in my install directory, it did not modify the Skyrim.ini in my Documents directory. So I dont see why that would cause a red screen, unless the game is also using config files in its install directory?

Info in links in my sig....

The game now saves the INI in the Data folder....also has a habit of calling it something other then Skyrim.ini , look for a 41 k INI file in the Data Directory. Most times the file is named after the last loading mod ( last for me it was called "update.ini"). make sure it is Skyrim.ini then Delete the file. this is easy way to rid yourself of the Red Logo.

The command you want to use now, to revert Ugrids is..."refreshini" That was after you had ...loaded game, ALT/TAB out of game to edit the INI to a lower Ugrid, save file ..TAB back to the game , open console type .."refreshini", Save a new game(new slot). exit and test.

Hope this helps...
