Hmmm, where to start.

Xbox One, two characters, maybe 100 hours between them. Last week, I couldn't play one evening because of XBOX network errors, so I turned off networking and continued playing. Today, trying to work on a settlement, turret's kept falling through the world and then the game locked hard. I restarted the Xbox and the only option was to start a new game. I restarted the Xbox again, same result. I turned networking back on, restarted again, same.

So I started a new game, I was thinking that maybe if I got to the point where I could save a new game, I could switch characters and load a game from there. I exit the vault, still can't use those menu options.

So, it looks like I lost everything I've done and even if I was willing to start over (which I'm not), I couldn't save if I wanted to . Anyone have any idea other than delete the program and replay Fallout 3? Sigh.

I added myself as a guest, then logged out, then logged back in as me and everything seems to work correctly. Maybe that helps someone else in the future.
