Ever since I downloaded Dawnguard manually saving dosn't work properly, it says I'm saving but it doesn't show up on the save file in game. The only way I can manually save is by saving over an old file, the file then disappears and when I save a second time it reappears as the new save.

one of my saves every time i tried to load it, delete it, or even scrolled over it freezes my game and the unreadable disk thing pops up.

Autosaves work fine though
