Hey guys playing a high elf invested in archery and I picked up this Imperial Bow of Scorching and was one-hitting most mobs until it stopped scorching things. It doesn't glow like it used to either. What gives? Anyone else run into this? Thanks.

I think it has charges and you ran out. Probably there's somewhere you can get it recharged. Have you been to the mage academy?

I have not and damn, that's sure to be a pain. I need to get smithying.

You need to use soul gems to charge your enchanted weapons. Just open your inventory, go to the weapon and charge it. There's a light blue bar that indicates how much charge the weapon has.

Actually enchanting is the skill your looking for.

You'll need soul gems, which work like batteries

In order to trap souls into gems youll need a spell with soul trap

once you have trapped a soul you can find a soul gem with a soul in your inventory and use it to recharge your item
