3D on 2D screens

So far games that have been released in 3D were only for 3DTVs. But will I be able to play Crysis 2 in 3D on a 2D screen? PLZZZ REPLY

Yes and no. If your screen already has a refresh rate of 120Hz or higher than it is possible to run 3d but not optimized. If you have anything lower it will not work. Most computer specific screens not like a 42 inch have 60Hz which is not sufficient and cannot display 3d.

crytek used a very good 3D tecnic so you dont need a 120 hz TV
only a 60hz with a 3d chipset and shutter glasses (pc)
for consoles you need a 3D TV

Sorry to burst your bubble but it's not possible on 60Hz, with 30Hz on each side of the screen which is how 3d works. You need at least 60Hz running on both sides or 120Hz. It doesn't matter how good their "3d technic" is they are limited by hardware. And you dont necessarily need a 3D chipset just driver support.

omg they use the memory of the graphic card and copy the picture and not calculate 2 times
so you dont need 120hz only 60 for pc (with Nvida 3d chipset)
on consols you need a 3d tv
