Season Unending Discussion

Post » Wed Dec 19, 2012 8:03 am

I just feel the need to bring this up.

I can honestly say Season Unending is my favorite quest in the entire game. I'd even go so far to say it's probably one of my favorite missions to do in any game. I simply find it interesting to see the Thalmor, Blades, Empire, Stormcloaks, and the Greybeards all in one place, sitting around a table, and discussing truce. I also like the whole atmosphere of the 'political' discussion. I kind of wish there was more you could on it (like a longer discussion and more 'give some, lose some' choices).

What do you think of this quest? Do you love it, hate it, don't care for it? And why?

I detest that quest. One time I had to sit through that garbage and ever since then I've made it my goal to get the Civil War resolved ASAP so that this infernal piece of crap quest doesn't get in my way when I feel it's time to trap a damned dragon and get on with my life as Dragonborn.

Why do I hate it? It's incredibly boring. Incredibly. Boring. And it's a no-win situation as far as I'm concerned - even when I'm supposed to be sticking it to the Stormcloaks, I'm not, I'm just giving them some other territory that is always valuable. I should be able to tell Ulfric that he can go screw himself when he starts acting like a child at that table. What a waste of time.

To each their own.

It really just depends on the kind of person you are. I like everything concerning war, strategy, etc, so I loved the little war council discussion.

I just played it recently, and fixed me some food and drink while playing through the discussion.

This is the problem. It's a long cut scene with a few interruptions. I don't think it's horrible but it is a little boring.

Personally I enjoy Season Unendig because t is a nice change of pace from just dungeon diving. I wish there was more negotiating and less of Ulfrics belly aching.

Yeah because we don't have enough dungeon diving. :stare:
