I am hoping for this as well. A closet/cupboard with a hidden back panel that leads down some stairs in to a room where my Vampire keeps his coffin would be very cool.

Because I just got that. So much yes. Maybe even a secret basemant like the one in the Riverwood Inn.

The feeling I got from the developers diary was that they wanted to allow the player to do quite a bit of different things to there home.
