(Given that this is solely possible with the help of DB I posted it here instead of the DG forum) So you can summon your servant and then transform into the VL and immediately initiate conversation, which allows you to equip items... But apparently upon transforming, you're given an item called "Vampire Lord Armor" (Which has the same look in your inventory as Vampire Royal Armor) if you unequip it, your VL is naked... (Off topic a tad) Which makes me wonder, if by swapping it with the Vampire Royal armor, can you get Harkon's VL look?

On a non anus related note, I wonder if we can use this to our advantage in other ways. Part of the problem being that I think you lose any items upon transforming back.

The only item you lose is "Vampire Lord Armor" but I've equipped it when not transformed.. and it has no appearance unless your transform to VL. Unequipping it takes away the pieces of the VL that are different between the PC and Harkon, making me believe that the player was originally meant to be able to obtain the other form... I'm not far enough along to get the Vampire Royal Armor to see if equipping that alters the appearance... This also works with the Werewolf.

I wonder if you can use this glitch to give yourself staves and scrolls as a Vampire Lord? Or maybe a more powerful version of drain health?

Edit: Or maybe even favorite items? I wonder if it's possible to essentially turn a vampire lord into the ultimate summoner by favoriting a ton of staves from that menu?

I haven't tried equipping any weapons on the VL, but I know clothing armor and enchantments stick. When you equip a sword as a werewolf you actually see it in your hand... So it's possible... Though I think that's more of a visual thing than anything (I don't know if it added to my damage) Anyways, I got an annoying sound glitch during one of the black books, so I'm done for the night, I'll dive more into it in the morning.

I'll try it out. You may have just made staves and scrolls useful, my friend.

Unfortunately, no. Apparently you can only equip one of each type of item. Depending on what you wish to do, you'd be better off with the restoration loop. If you want something such as, say, armored robes, then this is the best glitch to use.

I can confirm the Vampire Lord can become naked. Not by doing this, however. When I leave VL, everything pauses for a moment and he's in a birthday suit for the entirety of 2 seconds. I'll try and get a picture.

He's packing nothing from what I can tell, but they did give him a textured butt.

I don't think you can get Harkon's VL look, but I'll try. I'll have to swap my Black Market with the Secret Servant next time in Solstheim, need to get those VL perks.

I was thinking and reverse PPing the Vampire Lord Armor onto Harkon in hopes that it would make him drop his skin upon death

Just tried what the OP said, and you really can get Vampire Lord Armor if you put it in the Secret Sevant's inventory. One cool thing I realized about this glitch is when you equip the VL armor in normal form, you can also have another armor/clothing equiped at the same time. I'm now finding this to be a pretty usefull way to ignor useless enchantments on unique armor/robes. I even have a roleplaying excuse for it: my VL armor is just enchanted underwear, because when you wear just VL armor, you look like you have nothing on. I mean, if you can enchant everything else, why not underwear (yes, I know underwear isn't an equippable item in Skyrim, but now because of the VL armor, it sort of can be). I even named renamed them VL undies.

Careful though, if you go VL with you "Undies" in your inventory, they will be gone upon reverting back.
